The second edition of the International Organic Trade Fair would be held here from Novermber 10 to 12 to promote organic farming in the State.

A large numbers of exhibitors from different parts of country and world have confirmed their participation which is attracting, large number of foreign and domestic buyers, an official release said here today.

The event is also supported by Ministry of Agriculture, APEDA and Ministry of Food Processing Industries. The International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements is the patron of the fair.

The main attraction of this year fair include a German Pavilion, many national and international exhibitors, State pavilion.

The main components of the fair are exhibition, international seminar, food festival, organic buyer seller meets and other events.

The India Organic trade fair was held for the first time at Bangalore in 2005.

The Karnataka Government has already unveiled its Organic Farming Policy and has been encouraging it by offering incentives.
