To provide a platform to farmers to discuss and find solutions to various agrarian issues, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has decided to construct two Kisan Bhawans, one each in Jammu and Srinagar.
“Two Kisan Bhawans, one each in Jammu and Srinagar, will be constructed shortly to cater to the needs of farming community of the state. Possibilities will be explored to identify a centrally-located piece of land in the twin capitals for convenience of the visitors,” the Vice-Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Kisan Board, Mr Rachpal Singh, said while interacting with a group of farmers from Kashmir Valley.
