In restricted activity, peas prices declined by Rs 25 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market on Saturday on slackness in demand against adequate stocks on increased supplies. Elsewhere, other pulses continued to move in a narrow range and closed on a steady note.

Traders said sufficient stocks following increased arrivals from the producing region amid sluggish demand mainly led to the decline in peas prices.

In the national capital, peas white and green prices weakened by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,150-2,250 and Rs 2,250-2,450 a quintal, respectively.
