The edible oils market ruled steady with demand being need based in the physical market on Tuesday. Tracking overnight sharp fall on the futures market, soya oil declined by ₹5 and sunflower oil by ₹6 on the Bombay Commodity Exchange. Other edible oils rule unchanged.
Vikram Global Commodities (P) Ltd, Chennai quoted ₹535 for October Delivery for 10 kg of Malaysian Super Palm. Liberty was quoting palmolein ₹504-506, super palmolein ₹536 and soyabean refined oil ₹618.
Ruchi was quoting palmolein at ₹505, soyabean refined oil ₹615 and sunflower refined oil ₹630.
Allana was quoting palmolein at ₹515, super palmolein ₹540, soyabean refined oil ₹615 and sunflower oil ₹630.
In Saurashtra, Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia declined by ₹10 to ₹1,270 (₹1,280) and loose (10 kgs) was ₹805 (₹810).
On The Bombay Commodity Exchange spot rates (₹/10 kg) were: groundnut oil 840 (840), soya refined oil 608 (613), sunflower exp. ref. 570 (570), sunflower ref. 625 (630), rapeseed ref. oil 714 (720), rapeseed expeller ref. 684 (690) cottonseed ref. oil 633 (632) and Palmolein 504 (504).
