Barring urad, the majority of pulse seeds and pulses in Indore mandis were lower on weak physical demand.
Urad gained ₹300 a quintal on Friday with urad (bold) in Indore mandis at ₹7,300-7,500, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹6,500-6,800. Compared to last week, urad is ruling at ₹500 a quintal higher.
Urad dal (medium) was at ₹8,500-8,700, while urad dal (bold) quoted at ₹9,000-9,200.
Moong and its dal traded lower with arrivals outstripping demand. Moong (bold) declined by ₹100 to ₹5,000-5,100, while moong (medium) traded at ₹4,500-₹4,700.
Moong dal (medium) was being quoted at ₹5,700--5,900, while moong dal (bold) was at ₹6,000-6,400. Moong mongar ruled at ₹5,800-6,100 a quintal.
Masur and its dal ruled stable with masur (bold) at ₹5,500, while masur (medium) ruled at ₹5,100. Masur dal (medium) went for ₹6,250-6,350, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,450-6,550.
Sluggish demand and an enthusiastic crop report dragged tur, with tur (Maharashtra) declining to ₹6,800, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹6,000-6,200.
