Edible oils market witnessed a steady trend on weak futures amid slack demand. Stockists stayed away from fresh bulk buys. On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, groundnut oil and palmolein lost ₹5 and ₹1 per 10 kg each. Soyabean, sunflower and rapeseed oil rose by ₹2-5. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was flat at ₹1,240 and loose (10 kg) was at ₹750. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 825 (830), soya ref. 742 (740), sunflower exp. ref. 700 (700), sunflower ref. 742 (740), rapeseed ref. 810 (805), rapeseed exp. ref. 780 (775), cottonseed ref. 752 (752) and palmolein 716 (717).
