Bearish sentiments prevailed in soy oil and soybean amid slack and subdued demand with soy refined quoted at ₹738-40 for 10 kg, while soy solvent ruled at ₹705. An enthusiastic crop report and rise in the sowing area also added to the bearish sentiment in with prices in local mandis quoted at ₹3,325-50 a quintal. Plant deliveries of soybean were also lower at ₹3,400. In futures also, soybean traded lower on weak buying support with it's October and November contracts on the NCDEX closing at ₹3,353. Soy DOC quoted at ₹29,500-30,000 a tonne (spot) on weak domestic demand.
