Improved demand and buying support at lower rate lifted prices of majority of pulse seeds barring moong and urad. Masur (bold) today rose to ₹3,525 a quintal (up ₹100 from last week), while masur (Madhya Pradesh) rose to ₹3,200. Masur dal (medium) was at ₹4,600-4,700, while masur dal (bold) fetched ₹4,900-5,000 . Chana (kanta) was higher at ₹3,700, while chana (desi) was ₹3,600. Similarly, tur (Maharashtra) rose to ₹4,400, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹4,000. Moong (bold) declined to ₹5,000-5,100, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹4,500. Moong dal (medium) was steady at ₹5,600-5,700, moong dal (bold) at ₹6,100-6,200, while moong mongar went for ₹5,900-₹6,000. Urad (bold) was down at ₹3,600-3,700, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹2,800. Urad dal (medium) went for ₹5,300-₹5,400, urad dal (bold) at ₹5,500-₹5,600, while urad mongar ruled at ₹5,100-₹5,200.
