Cooking oils stay flat

Edible oils ruled flat tracking firm futures amid need-based demand. On the BCE, soya refined oil increased by ₹1 and palmolein declined by ₹3 for 10 kg each. Vikram global commodities quoted Malaysian super palmolein at ₹497. Liberty’s rates: palmolein ₹465, super palmolein ₹495 and soyabean refined oil ₹600. Ruchi traded palmolein at ₹461, soyabean refined oil ₹593 and sunflower refined oil ₹725. Allana was quoting palmolein at ₹466, soya refined oil ₹595 and sunflower oil ₹725.

In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was steady at ₹1,310 and loose (10 kg) ₹825.

BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 855 (855), soya ref. 592 (591), sunflower exp. ref. 650 (650), sunflower ref. 720 (720), rapeseed ref. oil 1,010 (1,010), rapeseed exp. ref. 980 (980), cottonseed ref. oil 577 (577) and palmolein 460 (463).
