Edible oils ruled steady to weak on Tuesday tracking thin volatility in futures amid lack of demand. On the BCE, soya oil, cotton oil and palmolein ruled unchanged but groundnut and rapeseed oil declined by ₹10 each. Sunflower oil fall by ₹2-5 per 10 kg. During the day, hardly 180-200 tonnes of palmolein were resold at ₹715-718, while prices of local refineries were far higher keeping no volume with them. Sentiment was steady, said sources.
Liberty: Palmolein Ex Shapur ₹745 for March. Super palmolein ₹770 for March and Sunflower refined oil ₹790 for March. Allana: Palmolein Ex JNPT ₹735 for March and Ex Khapoli ₹745 for April. Soyabean refined oil ₹775 for April and Sunflower refined oil ₹800 for March. Ruchi: Soya oil ₹780 for March and Sunflower refi.oil ₹775 for March. Golden agri : Palmolein ex JNPT ₹732 for 30 April and Ex STC ₹732 for 15 April. At Rajkot : groundnut oil was steady for telia tin ₹1,290 (₹1,290) and Loose (10 kg) ₹790 (₹800).
