Most edible oils ruled steady except groundnut oil which rose by ₹5 per 10 kg tracking steady futures amid slack physical demand. Local refineries rates were steady at higher level. Broker sources said during the day hardly 400-450 tonnes palmolein at ₹718-724, Soyabean refined oil 50-60 tonnes at ₹759 and sunflower refined oil 40-50 tonnes at ₹755 were resold for ready-weekly. Demands for deshi oils were lacking. Liberty: Palmolein Ex Shapur ₹740 for 10 April and STC ₹735 for 10 -30 April, Super palmolein ₹765 for 10 April. Sunflower refined oil ₹790 for 10 April.
Allana: Palmolein Ex JNPT ₹735 for March and Ex Khapoli ₹745 for April. Soyabean refined oil ₹775 for April and Sunflower refined oil ₹800 for March. Ruchi: Soya oil ₹780 for 5 April and sunflower refi.oil ₹775 for 5 April. Golden agri : Palmolein ex JNPT ₹728 for 30 April and Ex STC ₹728 for 15 April.
At Rajkot, groundnut oil was steady for telia tin at ₹1,280 and loose (10 kg) was up by ₹10 to ₹800. BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 845 (840), soya refined oil 765 (765), sunflower exp. ref. 710 (710), sunflower ref. 760 (760), rapeseed ref. oil 790 (790), rapeseed expeller ref. 760 (760), cottonseed ref. oil 760 (760) and Palmolein 720 (720).
