Most edible oils prices ruled weak on Friday on thin demand amid weak futures markets. On BCE barring rapeseed oil which ruled unchanged all other edible oils declined in the range of ₹2 – ₹10 as per variety. During the day hardly 300 tonnes palmolein was resold at ₹712 – ₹720. Activities in other edible oils were missing. Liberty: Palmolein Ex Shapur ₹735 for March. Super palmolein ₹760 for March and Sunflower refined oil ₹790 for March.

Allana: Palmolein Ex JNPT ₹735 for March and Ex Khapoli ₹740 for April. Sunflower refined oil ₹800 for March. Ruchi: Soya oil ₹782 for 15 March and Sunflower refi.oil ₹778 for 15 March.

Golden agri : Palmolein Ex JNPT ₹728 and for 28 March and Ex STC ₹731 for 24 March. At Rajkot : groundnut oil prices for Telia Tin decline to ₹1,340 (₹1,360) and Loose (10 kg) dropped to ₹830 (₹850).

Malaysian crude palm oil, April -18 futures settled lower at MYR2,385 (MYR 2,412) and May -18 ended at MYR 2,376 (MYR 2,410).

On NCDEX: Soyabean refined oil April -18 was ₹794.80 (₹795.30) and May-18 dropped to ₹790.00 (₹786.75) till evening.

On BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg) were: groundnut oil 870 (880), soya refined oil 765 (770), sunflower exp. ref. 715 (720), sunflower ref. 770 (770), rapeseed ref. oil 805 (805), rapeseed expeller ref. 775 (775), cottonseed ref. oil 767 (770) and Palmolein 713 (715).
