Majority of oils ruled higher amid a weaker rupee and higher imports. Besides, report of further hike in import duty on edible oils also added to the uptrend with soya refined today rising to ₹760-62 for 10 kg, while soya solvent ruled at ₹727-30.

Palm oil (Indore) was at ₹785, while cotton oil (Indore) ruled at ₹755. Groundnut oil slipped to ₹870-90 on weak demand.
