About 350 agricultural experts from the nutrition and health sectors of 35 countries will gather in Hyderabad for the the fourth Annual Agriculture, Nutrition, and Health (ANH) Academy Week.

Organised by global research network ANH Academy, the conference is being organised in association with the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) and the International Food Policy Research Institute.

The conference, which will begin on Wednesday, will discuss the latest research being conducted linking the fields of agriculture, nutrition, and health, Bharati Kulkarni, Deputy Director of NIN, said in a statement on Tuesday.

The earlier editions of the conference were held Ghana, Nepal and Ethiopia.

At this edition, researchers will discuss issues that are relevant to India and particularly Telangana. The agenda includes water and health and nutrition security, poor diet quality/lack of dietary diversity, and how to improve both to ensure healthy diets with optimal caloric and micro-nutrient consumption.
