Groundnut oil declined at wholesale market as demand from local brands and stockists moved down. On the other side, cotton oil was traded up on some fresh festival demand. Traders said that market was dull for groundnut oil as price was much higher than last year. Cotton oil was up a tad on fresh demand. Groundnut oil loose lost ₹5 to ₹1,015-1,020 per 10 kg, Jamnagar line telia tin was down ₹10 to ₹1,570-71 per 15 kg and groundnut oil new tin was ₹1,795-1,800 per 15 kg. About 4-5 tankers of groundnut oil were traded in Saurashtra’s mills. Washed cotton oil gained ₹5 to ₹585-588 per 10 kg and cotton oil new tin stood at ₹1,030-50 per 15 kg. About 30 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
