Groundnut oil traded down on weak retail demand and slow buying from brands. Similar trend was seen in cotton oil also. Traders said that retail demand was very dull and because of it domestic brands buying was very slow. Groundnut oil loose declined ₹10 to ₹1,010-15 per 10 kg, Jamnagar line teliya was down by ₹15 to ₹1,563-64 per 15 kg and groundnut oil new tin lost ₹20 to ₹1,705-10 per 15 kg. About 2 tankers were traded in Saurashtra’s mills. According to traders, demand declined after groundnut oil traded higher in past week due to short supply. Washed Cotton oil was traded down by ₹5 to ₹587-590 per 10 kg and cotton oil new tin declined by ₹10 to ₹1,030-50 per 15 kg. About 20 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
