As festival buying heads towards close, groundnut oil prices declined on poor demand. Cotton oil remained unchanged. Traders said that groundnut oil price constantly increased during last week due to festival demand while brands’ and stockists’ demand is coming down since last two days.
Groundnut oil (loose) decreased ₹10 to ₹835-840 for 10 kg. Jamnagar line telia lost ₹15 to ₹1,300-01 for 15 kg. Groundnut oil new tin traded weak by ₹10 to ₹1,465-70 for 15 kg. About 7-8 tankers were traded in Saurashtra’s mills. On the other hand, cotton oil remained steady on normal buying in the market.
Washed cotton oil traded at ₹587-590 for 10 kg and cotton oil new tin stood at ₹1,060-80 per 15 kg in Rajkot. About 15-20 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
