Edible oils markets turned weak on Thursday tracking bearish futures amid slack demand. Malaysian palm oil futures closed lower for the second consecutive day pushing NCDEX soya oil down by ₹3-3.50 per 10 kg. On the BCE, barring sunflower and cotton oil which rose by ₹10 per 10 kg each, all other oils ruled steady.
Groundnut arrivals in Gondal-Rajkot Mandi were about 11,000 bags and its prices were ₹700-970. At Rajkot , groundnut oil telia tin was up at ₹1,330 (₹1,320) and loose (10 kg) was flat at ₹830.
