Amid fresh spell of rains in Madhya Pradesh and enthusiastic crop report, prices of both soya oil and soyabean were down at the mandis in Indore. This was due to weak demand and bearish global cues. Soya refined went for ₹734-35 for 10 kg, while soya solvent ruled at ₹700-705.
Soyabean traded at ₹3,350 a quintal (down ₹50 from last week). Plant deliveries too declined to ₹3,450. Soyameal in the spot declined to ₹28,000-28,500 a tonne on poor domestic demand.
