Uptrend in chana continuing for the past few days ended with higher arrivals and decline in buying support at higher rate with chana (kanta) declining to ₹4,600-50 a quintal (₹4,725-50). Similarly, chana (desi) declined to ₹4,300 (₹4,500). Chana (mausmi) ruled at ₹4,300-50.

Chana dal (average) was being quoted at ₹5,400-5,600 (up ₹100 from last week), chana dal (medium) ₹5,700-5,800 (up ₹100), while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,000-6,400 (up ₹100 from last week). Dollar chana gained ₹100 at ₹4,800-5,200 a quintal.

In container, however, dollar chana traded higher on improved export demand with dollar chana (42/44 count) at ₹6,125-50; 44/46 count at ₹5,950-75; 58/60 count at ₹5,250-75, while dollar (60/62 count) rose to ₹5,150-75.
