Domestic edible oils market remained under pressure on back of profit booking. With routine volume in imported palmolein and steady trend in indigenous edible oils, sentiment was calm.
On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, groundnut, sunflower and cotton oil rose by ₹10, ₹5 and ₹1 for 10 kg each. Imported soya oil and palmolein declined by ₹1 each as refineries lowered their rates. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹505 JNPT, super palmolein ₹535 and soyabean refined oil ₹590. Ruchi traded palmolein at ₹503, soyabean refined oil ₹587, sunflower refined oil was ₹685. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹506, super palmolein ₹535, soyabean refined oil ₹587, sunflower oil ₹695. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil Telia tin jumped by ₹35 to ₹1,595 and loose (10 kg) was up ₹25 to ₹1,025.
