The majority of oils in Indore mandis traded higher on improved buying and rise in futures on Thursday. Soya refined Indore (Vippy & Bajrang) was quoted at ₹833 for 10 kg each, soya refined (Vippy) at ₹835, soya refined Neemuch (Dhanuka) at ₹823, MS Solvex at ₹825, soya refined Mandsaur (Amrit) at ₹825, soya refined Pachore (MS) at ₹830 and soya refined Kalapipal (Ambika) at ₹835. Soya solvent also ruled higher at ₹785-90 for 10 kg. Palm oil (Indore) rose to ₹850-55 for 10 kg and palm oil (Bombay) to ₹790. Cotton oil (Gujarat) was quoted at ₹790. Groundnut oil, on the other hand, declined on weak buying with groundnut oil (Indore) trading at ₹1,340-60 for 10 kg and groundnut oil (Gujarat) at ₹1,340, while groundnut oil (Bombay) ruled at ₹1,325.
Weak arrival perked up mustard seeds (Nimar) to ₹4,050-4,100 a quintal, while raida was quoted at ₹3,950. Weak availability of mustard seeds lifted plant deliveries of mustard seeds to ₹4,925-30 a quintal. The arrival of mustard seeds across the country declined to 3.50 lakh bags. Rajasthan led the arrival with 2 lakh bags, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 60,000 bags, Madhya Pradesh 20,000 bags, Gujarat and Haryana/Punjab 5,000 bags each, while 40,000 bags were offloaded elsewhere in the country.
