Sugar prices declined by ₹20-30 on Thursday tracking weak mill tender rates led by higher selling pressure. Naka rates were steady.
On Wednesday about 15 mills offered tenders and sold about– 4,000 bags at ₹3,080-3,160 (₹3,100-3200) for S-grade and ₹3,170-3,270 (₹3,200-3,300) for M-grade.
On Bombay Sugar Merchants Association's spot rates were: S-grade ₹3,196-3,262 (₹3,200-3,280) and M-grade ₹3,286-3,460 (₹3,290-3,490). Naka delivery rates were: S-grade ₹3,130-3,230 (₹3,130-3,230) and M-grade ₹3,220-3,310 (₹3,220-3,310).
