Despite improved buying in `besan', chana traded low with prices declining to ₹4,050-75 a quintal. Chana dal ruled stable, with chana dal (medium) being quoted at ₹5,100-5,200, while chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,300-5,400 a quintal. Amidst subdued domestic and export demand dollar chana ruled flat at ₹5,000-5,200 a quintal. In container, dollar chana (42/44 count) today fetched ₹6,300, dollar chana (44/46 count) at ₹6,100, while dollar chana (58/60 count) was quoted at ₹5,100. Sluggish trend also prevailed in other pulse seeds on weak demand with masur quoted at ₹5,275-5,300, while moong new ruled at ₹6,200-6,400.
