A mixed trend was witnessed in edible oils market tracking thin volatility in futures despite higher volumes. In spot market, sunflower and rapeseed oil declined by ₹5 and ₹10 for 10 kg each. Soyabean refined oil was up ₹1.
Vikram global commodities traded Malaysian super palmolein at ₹497. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹465, super palmolein ₹495 and soyabean refined oil ₹600. Ruchi’s rates: palmolein ₹465, soyabean refined oil ₹591, sunflower refined oil ₹731. Allana traded palmolein for ₹466, soya refined oil ₹595 and sunflower oil ₹725.
In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was steady at ₹1,310 and loose (10 kg) declined to ₹825.
BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 855 (855), soya ref. 591 (590), sunflower exp. ref. 650 (655), sunflower ref. 720 (725), rapeseed ref. oil 1,010 (1,020), rapeseed exp. ref. 980 (990), cottonseed ref. oil 577 (577) and palmolein 463 (463).
