Spot rubber finished firm on Wednesday. RSS 4 improved to ₹133 (₹132.50) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade closed marginally higher at ₹130 (₹129.50), according to dealers. The trend was mixed. July futures weakened to ₹136 (₹138.18), August to ₹137.25 (₹139.88) and September to ₹137 (₹139.31) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹118.43 (₹118.80) at Bangkok. June futures closed at ¥218 (₹112.85) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/ kg): RSS-4: 133 (132.50); RSS-5: 130 (129); Ungraded: 123 (122); ISNR 20: 122 (122) and Latex 60%: 115 (115).
