Spot rubber was in a mixed mood on Friday. RSS 4 continued to rule unchanged at ₹128 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. RSS 5 improved further on enquiries from the non tyre sector while Latex lost further on low demand. The overall volumes were dull. July futures declined to ₹127.05 (128.07) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS 3 weakened at its July futures to ₹99.21 (99.56) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 128 (128); RSS-5: 126 (125.50); ISNR 20: 127 (127) and Latex (60% drc): 82 (82.50).
