Both pulse seeds and pulses traded low on decline in buying support at higher rate. Masur (bold) in Indore mandis was quoted at ₹6,650-75, while masur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹6,300. Given decline in crop output this year which is reported to be around 20 lakh tonnes (lt) against 24 lt last year and dependency on imported crop, future of masur appears bullish. Masur dal (medium) went for ₹7,450-7,650, while masur dal (bold) was quoted at ₹7,750-7,850 (up ₹150 from last week). Rally in moong continuing for the past few days on slack arrival ended with decline in buying support at higher rate. Moong (bold) declined by ₹100 to ₹7,300-7,400. Similarly, moong (medium) also declined by ₹100 to ₹6,800-7,000. Moong dal (medium) fetched ₹8,800-9,000, moong dal (bold) ₹9,200-9,400, while moong mongar was quoted at ₹9,200-9,700. Urad ruled firm at ₹8,500, urad (medium) ₹7,500-7,600. Urad dal (medium) was being quoted at ₹9,900-10,000, urad dal (bold) ₹10,100-200, while urad mongar was ₹11,200-700.
