Poor crop report, lack of selling interest from importers in Mumbai and rise in prices in Maharashtra have lifted tur prices in the past one week by ₹100 with tur (Maharashtra) rising to ₹4,300-4,325 a quintal, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) was quoted at ₹3,950-4,000. Tur dal (sawa no.) traded at ₹5,350-5,450, tur dal (full) ₹5,850-5,950, while tur marka was quoted at ₹6,350-6,550 . Chana (kanta) went for ₹3,700-3,750, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹3,600. Similarly, masur (bold) rose to ₹3,450, while masur (Madhya Pradesh) was at ₹3,200-₹3,250. Moong (bold) increased to ₹5,000-₹5,100 while moong (medium) ruled at ₹4,500. Moong dal (medium) fetched ₹5,600-5,700, moong dal (bold) ₹6,100-₹6,200, while moong mongar ruled at ₹5,900-6,000 a quintal respectively. Urad (bold) quoted at ₹3,600-₹3,700, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹2,700-₹2,800.
