Poor offtake crushes soya
Despite improved global cues, majority of oils traded low on weak demand with soya refined at ₹765-67 for 10 kg, (775-78 last week), while soya solvent ruled at ₹735-40. Palm oil was at ₹762, while cotton oil (Indore) fetched ₹755. Weak demand also dragged groundnut oil to ₹900-920 a quintal. Mustard seeds declined to ₹4,250 a quintal, (4,500-4,650 last week), while raida ruled at ₹3,450. Plant deliveries for Jaipur line were lower at ₹4,110-15 a quintal. (4,190-95 last week). Arrivals across the country today rose to 6.85 lakh bas (3.3 lakh bags).
