Despite weak physical demand, fresh hike in the MSP by the Union government has lifted prices of the majority of pulse seeds in Indore mandis with masur (bold) today rising to ₹4,200-₹4,275 a quintal, while masur (medium) ruled at ₹3,900. Compared to last week, masur is ruling ₹ 100-₹ 125 a quintal higher. Masur dal remained stable with masur dal (medium) today being quoted at ₹ 5,450-₹5,550 a quintal, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹ 5,650-₹ 5,750 a quintal.
Moong also traded higher with moong (bold), today being quoted at ₹ 5,450-₹ 5,550 a quintal (up ₹ 200), while moong (medium) ruled at ₹ 5,000-₹ 5,200 a quintal. The rise in moong also lifted its dal with moong dal (medium) today being quoted at ₹ 7,000-₹ 7,100, moong dal (bold) at ₹ 7,200-₹ 7,400, while moong mongar ruled at ₹ 7,600--₹ 7,700 a quintal respectively. Urad on the other hand, was quoted lower on weak physical demand with urad (bold) today being quoted at ₹ 5,000-₹ 5,100 a quintal, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹ 3,800. Urad dal remained steady with urad dal (medium) today being quoted at ₹ 5,700-₹ 5,800, urad dal (bold) at ₹ 5,900-₹ 6,000, while urad mongar ruled at ₹ 6,800-₹ 6,900 a quintal respectively.
