Rally in tur continued amid apprehension of decline in the crop output this year on account of scarce rainsin the growing area of Maharashtra. On Friday, tur (Maharashtra) in Indore mandis rose to ₹4,400 a quintal, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹3,800-4,000 . Besides weak crop report, improved festive demand has also added to an uptrend in tur. Rally in tur lifted its dal with tur dal (sawa no.) quoted at ₹5,300-5,400 a quintal, tur dal (full) ₹5,700-5,800, while tur marka quoted at ₹6,100-6,400.
Urad (bold) quoted at ₹5,000-5,200 (up ₹100 from last week), while urad (medium) ruled at ₹4,000-4,200. Urad dal (medium) quoted at ₹5,400-5,500, urad dal (bold) at ₹5,600-5,700, while urad mongar ruled at ₹6,300-6,400 . Moong (bold) quoted at ₹5,500-5,700 , while moong (medium) ruled at ₹5,000-5,200 . Moong dal moong dal (medium) quoted at ₹6,600-6,700, while moong dal (bold) and moong mongar ruled at ₹6,800-6,900. Weak availability and improved festive demand lifted masur in the past one week by ₹100 with Masur (bold) in Indore mandis quoted at ₹3,700-3,725 , while masur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹3,500. Masur dal ruled flat with masur dal (medium) quoted at ₹4,900-4,950 , while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,100-5,200 a quintal.
