The Rubber Board is organising a growers' meet and exhibition at the Rubber Research Institute of India from September 15-17. The programme will coincide with the international workshop on Phytophthora diseases of plantation crops and their management.
Rubber Board intends to make growers aware of the modern concepts in disease management of plantation crops, environmental concerns and legal issues in crop protection, chemicals, bio-control and machinery .
Growers who have developed their own innovative methods for disease management in plantation crops will present their views in the growers' meet.
The plant protection chemicals and machinery developed for disease management will be displayed in the seminar. Those desirous of exhibiting their products in the seminar should reserve their stalls in advance. The entry for the exhibition is free.
