Spot rubber closed unchanged on Tuesday. RSS 4 ended flat at ₹120 a kg, according to traders. The grade was quoted steady at ₹119 by the Rubber Board. May futures improved to ₹120.39 (119.90), June to ₹122.95 (122.42), July to ₹125 (124.90) and August to ₹129.78 (126.14) on the National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹115.02 (114.79) at Bangkok. May futures improved to ₹110.26 (110.07) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM).
Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 120 (120); RSS-5: 117 (117); ISNR 20: 106 (106) and Latex (60% drc): 81.50 (82.00).
