Spot rubber continued to rule weak on Thursday. RSS 4 slid to ₹127.50 (128) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade dropped to ₹123.50 (124) as quoted by the dealers. The June futures surrendered to ₹126.50 (128.63), July to ₹129.36 (131.87), August to ₹131.51 (134.03) and September to ₹131.31 (135.37) per kg on the National Multi Commodity Exchange RSS 3 (spot) weakened to ₹115.10 (117.62) a kg at Bangkok. June futures dropped to ₹109.17 (110.78) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 127.50 (128); RSS-5: 125 (125.50); ISNR 20: 124.50 (125) and Latex (60 per cent drc): 90 (91).
