Spot rubber was weak on Tuesday. RSS 4 slid to ₹121.50 (122)according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade dropped to ₹117.50 (118) as quoted by the dealers. The trend was mixed. In futures, April contracts closed at ₹119.60 (119.76), May at ₹122.50 (122.71), June at ₹124.48 (125) and July at ₹126.52 (126.25) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹111.85 (111.82) at Bangkok. Its April futures improved to ₹106.88 (105.79) on TOCOM.

Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 121.50 (122); RSS-5: 119.50 (120); ISNR 20: 109 (109) and Latex (60% drc): 83 (82.50).
