Spot rubber finished weak on Friday. RSS 4 slid to ₹125.50 (126) a kg, according to traders. The grade was quoted unchanged at ₹125.50 by the Rubber Board. According to observers, the market lost mainly in the absence of North Indian buyers prior to Diwali. November futures improved to ₹125.50 (124.09) on the Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX). RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹102.25 (101.76) at Bangkok. Its November futures declined to ₹92.21 (93.99) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 125.50 (126); RSS-5: 120.50 (120.50); ISNR 20: 113.50 (114) and Latex (60% drc): 86.50 (87.50).
