Spot rubber continued to remain neutral on Monday. RSS 4 closed unchanged at ₹134 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The market was in a holiday mood owing to Sree Narayana Guru Deva Jayanthi.
RSS 4 improved at its September futures to ₹134.25 (134.04) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to ₹105.91 (105.30)at Bangkok. Its August futures improved to ₹102.60 (101.83) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 134 (134); RSS-5: 132 (132); ISNR 20: 132 (132) and Latex (60% drc): 109 (109).
