Spot rubber continued to rule unchanged on Friday.
Meanwhile, the key TOCOM rubber recovered tracking a weaker yen. Sheet rubber closed steady at Rs 159 a kg, according to traders.
The grade increased Rs 160 (159.50) a kg at Kottayam and Kochi, as reported by the Rubber Board.
RSS 3 (spot) firmed up to Rs 177.06 (176.56) a kg at Bangkok. The January futures expired at ¥295.1 (Rs 174.99), while the February futures improved to ¥296.7 (Rs 175.94) from ¥293.5 during the day session and then to ¥298.1 (Rs 176.78) in the night session on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
Spot rates were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 159 (159); RSS-5: 153 (153); ungraded: 147.50 (147.50); ISNR 20: 155 (155) and latex 60 per cent: 105 (105).
