Edible oils market ruled weak tracking bearish overseas futures amid slack physical demand. On the BCE, palmolein and soya oil declined by ₹2 and ₹5 for 10 kg each. Improved arrivals of indigenous oils pulled down groundnut and cotton oil by ₹5 and ₹3 each. Activities were limited as stockists stayed away from fresh bet. Vikram global commodities quoted Malaysian super palmolein at ₹497. Liberty’s rates: palmolein ₹465-JNPT, super palmolein ₹495, soyabean refined oil ₹600. Ruchi was quoting palmolein for ₹465, soyabean refined oil ₹591 and sunflower refined oil ₹731. Allana traded palmolein at ₹466, soya refined oil ₹595 and sunflower oil ₹725. In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was steady at ₹1,310 and loose (10 kg) at ₹835.
