Sugar market ruled unchanged on Wednesday on normal activities. Despite peak summer days, bulk demand from industries remained routine.Higher production and burden of surplus stocks kept the supplies ample and sentiments weak, said sources. Arrivals top the Vashi wholesale market were at 57-58 truck loads and local dispatches were at the same level. Freight rates were steady. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹2,610-2,751 and M-grade ₹2,700-2,882. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹2,575-2,645 and M-grade ₹2,645-2,725.
