Sugar prices at the Vashi market declined by ₹10-15 a quintal tracking weak trend led by resale pressure. Naka rates were down by ₹30-50, while mill tender rates were lower on slack demand.
Arrivals increased to 63-64 truck loads and local dispatches were at the same level. Freight rates were steady.
The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade ₹3,200-3,282 and M-grade ₹3,300-3,510.
Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,100-3,250 and M-grade ₹3,200-3,320.
