Sugar prices at Vashi declined further by ₹15-20, extending a bearish trend on Friday as producers/mills brought down the sale price by ₹10 for fair quality. Naka rates were steady. The inventory at Vashi was 100-105 truckloads. On Thursday, mills sold about 20,000 bags at ₹2,900-2,970 a quintalfor S-grade and ₹2,970-3,070 for M-grade. Naka delivery rates were: S-grade ₹3,010- 3,100 and M-grade ₹3,080-3,200.
