Spot rubber made all-round gains on Thursday. RSS-4 improved ridden by acute short supplies to ₹131 (130) a kg, as reported by the traders. The grade firmed up further to ₹130.50 (130), according to the Rubber Board. There were fresh enquiries from the tyre sector. RSS-4 improved at its August futures to ₹133.28 (131.58) and September to ₹132.47 (130.90) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS-3 (spot) inched up to ₹103.86 (103.74) at Bangkok. July futures closed at ₹100.93 (100.05) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 131 (130); RSS-5: 128 (127.50); ISNR 20: 130 (129) and Latex (60% drc): 83 (82).
