Majority of pulse seeds and pulses traded low on weak physical demand. Despite weak arrival, bearish sentiment in chana and its dal for the "Gudi pudwa" festival with chana(kanta) quoted at ₹3,525-50 a quintal, while chana desi ruled at ₹3,450. Chana dal (average) quoted at ₹4,200-4,300, Chana dal (medium) ₹4,700-4,800, chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹5,200-5, 300 respectively. On the other hand dollar chana ruled at ₹6,000-6,500 amid the arrival of 7,000 bags in Indore mandis. The arrival of dollar chana in mandis across Madhya Pradesh today was recorded at 25,000-30,000 bags. In containers, dollar chana (42/44 count) fetched ₹7,700-7,750 , dollar chana (44/46 count) at ₹7,450-7,500 while dollar chana (58/60 count) ruled at ₹5,650-5,700 respectively.
