On the Bombay Commodity Exchange, barring sunflower refined oil which declined by ₹5 per 10 kg, all other edible oils ruled steady as weak rupee made imports costlier. As import parity remained costlier, local refineries kept their rates unchanged. Allana sold about 500 tonnes of palmolein at ₹723. About 400 tonnes of palmolein were resold at ₹718-723 for ready-weekly. At Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was steady at ₹1,280 and loose (10 kg) was at ₹800.
