The Rotary Club of Madras North, in association with BusinessLine, is organising a panel discussion in Chennai on the Budget on Friday, July 11. The expert panel will discuss the key proposals of the Budget and analyse their impact on the economy, trade, business and financial markets and offer perspective on how the proposals are likely to affect different industries.
The panel will feature eminent speakers such as G Sundaram, former Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and International Trade, Anand Radhakrishnan, Chief Investment Officer - Equities, Franklin Templeton Investments India, Jawahar Vadivelu, Chairman - SICCI, Sudip Bandhopadhyay, CEO - Destimoney Securities, and Sampath Kumar, former Editor of BusinessLine .
The programme is intended to raise funds to rebuild part of a high school at Napallayam village, which is in a dilapidated state, and to procure additional computers for the school. The building will also double up as a computer training academy and vocational training centre for children.
