Adventz Group Chairman Saroj Poddar welcomed the Rail Budget as a step in the right direction. The group controls private sector wagon maker Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd and services arm Kalindee Rail Nirman (Engineers) Ltd.
Poddar feels the Rail Minister Sadanand Gowda’s focus on attracting more freight as well as modernisation of the Railways should generate more business for both Texmaco and Kalindee.
“It’s a sound Budget,” he said.
