The Central government will table Union Budget 2016-17 on February 29, Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha said on Thursday, adding that it would set the vision for the next three years. “The Budget will establish a roadmap for two or three years,” he said at the India-Korea Business Summit. Outlining the key priorities for the Budget, Sinha said the government would focus on five core areas – poverty elimination, universal social security, improving productivity of the farm and manufacturing sectors, financial sector reforms and infrastructure development.
