Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday underscored that every significant decision taken by the NDA Government is aimed in one direction -- to promote economic activity and to make it more investment friendly.
Speaking at a BRICS summit jointly organised by the Government, RBI and SEBI, Jaitley observed that the results of these decisions are obvious.
"I think the other silver lining seems to be that the states have also become extremely competitive.
"And therefore a large number of state governments are also becoming increasingly investment friendly....," he said.
